HARYANA :::Interesting::: This result shows that Hooda's brand was over-valued. Moreover Congress fell prey to self destruction. OP Chautala emerges as an eminent force in Haryana politics. One of the biggest coup is Dharamvir Singh's win from Sohna. He defeated strong local candidates namely Sukhbir Jaunapuria, Zakir Hussein, and Saheeda with an unbelievable short campaign of just 15 days. OP Chautala is trying hard to get first chance to form government. However, BS Hooda seems to be front runner to occupy CM chair again. Kr. Selja is also staking claim to CM chair with support of HJC. BS Hooda is reported to have garnered support of 7 independent MLAs.
MAHARASHTRA :::Expected::: Every one was expecting a repeat of Cong-NCP. This result does not spring any surprise except MNS rise. MNS has got a whooping vote share in Mumbai. Raj Thackeray has an active 'Market' for his brand of politics. This right wing strategy does win over people by raising their pseudo 'self respect'. I would like to say that it is an easy way to get a vote bank. MNS should pursue this strategy but with a touch of caution. MNS should not test extremes. Nevertheless, Sena-BJP will have to deal with leadership and command issues after another dismal performance.
ARUNACHAL PRADESH :::One sided::: I feel media should give more footage to under developed Arunachal Pradesh not just when China hues & cries about it and elections takes place but always. Barkha Dutt also endeavour this view. She has even tweeted about it.
